Removing Flooring after Water Damage
This bathroom is located in a finished basement. The homeowner first noticed her carpets were wet and a had a musty smell. SERVPRO was able to determine several areas for potential mold growth such as underneath the floorings and trimmings. The bathroom floors didn't look extremely wet but with the thermal moisture reader, they were able to determine that area to be very wet. Our Technicians removed the laminated flooring and found a few areas where mold was starting to grow. They added a dehumidifier in the basement to pull the moisture from the air, air movers to dry the carpets and walls and added a microbial cleaner to the affected area. We are here to help!
