2023 | Annual Holiday Lights Walk
Starting the holiday season off, SERVPRO of Decorah enjoyed handing out candy and chapstick to everyone who came out for the annual Holiday Lights walk-through on November 22nd, put on by Helping Services for Youth & Families. They recorded the larThis is some textgest turnout ever: over 3,100 people and over $10,000 raised in contributions. SERVPRO appreciated the opportunity to be one of the sponsors of the Military Flag Display also!
2023 | Nordic Fest Parade
Kids, and Candy, and Community, Oh MY! SERVPRO of Decorah suited up for our 3rd year in the Nordic Fest parade, themed: Vikings, and Gnomes, and Trolls, Oh My! We enjoyed handing out 5,100 pieces of candy and 180 bottles of water!

2023 | Decorah Golf Outing
Project Manager Brice and Marketing Manager Debbie displayed their dedication and enthusiasm while participating in the Decorah Area Chamber golf outing. Their presence on the course was not only impactful but also engaging, leaving a positive impression on all who interacted with them. It was a successful day of golf and networking, showcasing our commitment to both our industry and our community.

The Northeast Iowa Regional Board of Realtors Vendor Fair was a delightful event, filled with sweetness and charm. Realtors from all corners of Northeast Iowa congregated in a single location, fostering an environment perfect for forging valuable connections and fruitful collaborations.

We extend our gratitude to all of the agents that joined us for this class! We would also like to thank Hotel Winn for their warm hospitality. Together, we created an extraordinary environment where insurance agents thrived, expanding their horizons and embracing the power of continuous learning. An extra shout-out to those that participated in our "the nose knows" experiment!
2023 | Employee Appreciation
SERVPRO employees unleashed their competitive spirit and hit the bowling alley with a bang for an unforgettable Employee Appreciation Day! Laughter filled the air as we tackled the duck pin bowling lanes, and the combination of good food, refreshing drinks, and the company of our amazing teammates added an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie. We couldn't have asked for a better way to bond and strengthen our team!
2023 | Pack the Dome
We joined forces with UNI's Office of Community Engagement and Panther Pantry along with the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank for Martin Luther King Jr. Day! This day of service entailed packaging food for the “Backpack Program”. This program serves 4,100 children at 159 different schools across northeast Iowa each month! It was a great evening!
2022 | IAI Conference
It is always an immense pleasure of ours to share our passion and purpose with other SERVPROs! Debbie, our Marketing Manager, traveled to Des Moines to attend the 2022 Iowa Division of the International Association for Identification Conference along with SERVPRO of Des Moines SW & East, SERVPRO of Ames, and SERVPRO Des Moines NW! We take great pride in being a resource in times of need! Thank you for having us!
2022 | September Continuing Education Class
We had a successful CE class at Viking State Bank! A huge shoutout to them for their beautiful conference space and Java Johns Coffee House for catering this event! Great company, excellent presentations, and delicious food were had!
2022 | Decorah Networking Chamber Breakfast
We had a wonderful morning hosting the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast! It was fun to meet new friends who care so much about Decorah businesses and the community! We want to thank everyone who came and spent their morning with us!

2022 | Decorah Nordic Fest
All directions point NORSE when you call SERVPRO of Decorah! We had a great time at the Decorah Nordic Fest parade sprinkling the "good" ;) candy and handing out water! Getting a taste of the rich culture is always something we value here at SERVPRO! We can't wait for next year!
2022 | Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing
Another year of supporting our Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce! We love sponsoring these events because we get to talk to and meet so many awesome individuals from our communities! We often have fun, goofy golf games at our hole, as well as sweet treats! There is never a lack of fun when you come across a hole sponsored by SERVPRO!
2022 | March CE Class
We had a wonderful time at our CE class in Calmar. The staff at NICC was so accommodating, we are so appreciative of their work in helping us host a perfect day of learning! As always, we gain so much knowledge listening in on these classes and we love being able to provide these opportunities to our agents!
2021 | House of Hope Donation
Every year we choose a recipient for our SERVPRO family giving during the holidays! This year our team went in on a new rocking chair to gift to the House of Hope. Their mission is changing so many lives. Our Warehouse and Equipment Coordinator, Chuck, put this rocker together so we could deliver it ready for use! In addition, our BBC Referal group donated other essential items for the women and children at House of Hope!
2021 | Holiday Happiness
This year in spreading holiday happiness, we wanted to help people wrap up their year, so we gave the gift of gift-giving! While out and about on our delivery route, we ran into the Grinch! No worries though because he was the grinch whose heart was big as ever!
2021 | Decorah Lighted Parade
We stayed Koselig (cozy) at the Decorah Lighted Parade! The weather was beautiful and it wasn't too much work to stay bundled up and warm! The turnout of the parade was excellent, we were so happy to see so many people out enjoying the lights and getting into the holiday spirit!
2021 | Agency Annual Meeting Expo
We love collaborating with our fellow SERVPRO's to showcase all the services we have to offer! We attended an agency annual meeting and got to make new friends, and visit with old ones! Choose SERVPRO once, use us wherever!

The year 2021 brought many joyful occurrences, including the one-year anniversary of our Decorah Office opening! Our celebrations were filled with sights and tastes of Decorah. We even got to enjoy an evening at the new Cider Works! We are so honored to be able to serve this beautiful community!

Scott Demuth (owner), and his father Joe Demuth enjoyed a special day on the Sullivan Hartogh Davis Central Valley Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in September. Thank you, Joe, for your service in the Army and we’re thankful for your dedication & work at SERVPRO!

Our September Ethics CE Class was a splendid time. We had a delicious breakfast and lunch catered by Java Johns and learned a lot of valuable knowledge. The staff at Viking State Bank was so welcoming and their new conference room is absolutely beautiful! Thank you to everyone in attendance!

To celebrate two years of our Decorah office opening, we had a happy hour event at Toppling Goliath to treat all our friends and agents. This was a great opportunity to converse with people while wining and dining them at the same time!
2021 | Decorah Chamber Golf Event
It was a beautiful day in Decorah during their annual Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Event! Our project manager, Sam Whitehead, was able to join in on some of the fun that we had happening on our hole (hitting a jumbo marshmallow into a SERVPRO air mover with a big plastic club to be exact)! We met lots of great friends and can't wait to go back and meet some more soon!
2021 | Our Central Office has MOVED!
On the 23rd of July, we officially moved our central office and warehouse just a few miles down the street! Because of the continuous support of all of our great customers, we needed more space to serve all of YOU! WE can't wait to see what kind of new opportunities this new space will bring!

2020 | National Coffee Day!
Dropping off a coffee from Euphoria to our friends at Michael Insurance Agency in West Union for responding to our FB giveaway post. The Gingerbread Latte is sooo good!!
